Clear Water Beach 7/9/06
Our Stay at the Cocoa Beach Condo was over. So we went to the west
coast of Florida to test the Gulf waters.
As you can plainly see, the water was much calmer.
Jenny and Matthew took a ride on a Parasail behind a boat. 800 feet in
the air. I think it was a little less exciting than they thought it
would be. Except Jenny said she fell overboard. Guess I'm glad I missed
that.

Tonight, we go for a ride on a real live Pirate Ship with Captain Memo!
No, that's not Captain Memo. That's me.
As we "walk the plank" to get on board, they take our group picture.
You can just tell Jenny and Matthew are going to love this trip. Jenny
got on the boat and immediately went into hiding completely embarrassed
that I would subject her to such a trip as this!
It did seem that most of the activities were for the kids. The
activities for adults were mostly centered around drinking.
Real Pirates! I kid you not!
Elizabeth won the grand prize for being the survivor of musical
chairs.
A very nice genuine official "Pirate's Ransom" key chain. Every kid got
a gold coin too! I knew I was paying good money for something!

It was a nice sized ship. It took us right out into the Gulf of Mexico
for a view of the sun set.

Elizabeth also won the Johnny Depp look-alike contest!

Towards the end, Jenny comes out of hiding!
Turns out that Jenny and Matthew like it fine after all....
